Rates and Insurance

Rates

Effective July 15, 2024, our rates for appointments with a Licensed Masters-Level or Licensed Psychologist are:

$215 for initial evaluation
$190 for a 53-minute session
$155 for a 45-minute session
$120 for a 30-minute session

For self-pay clients, we offer a prompt-pay discount of $45 off the above rates per session.

Our rates for appointments with an INTERN Clinician in a Master’s Degree program under Clinical Supervision are:

$50 for a 45-55 minute session
Self-pay only; no insurance submission
Available if you are uninsured or have private insurance; Medicaid and Medicare recipients are not eligible.

Intern Therapy

At MFC, if you are seeing an Intern Therapist, know that we are very selective in our hiring process and that the therapists work extremely closely with the supervising clinicians to ensure their development and the quality of the treatment they deliver. Not all insurance will reimburse for Interns, so it is essential to talk with our administrative staff to assess if an Intern is the best fit for you.

We set the private pay-per-session rates for Intern Therapy significantly lower than those of our seasoned and Licensed Therapists. This can mean significant financial savings when considering the long-term costs of seeking treatment. We have found that many people will opt to see an Intern who is not paneled with their insurance company because the per-session rate can be lower than the copay or cost of counseling using their high-deductible plans.

Payment

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Out Of Network Insurance Benefits

If we are not directly paneled with your insurance, you may still be able to submit a receipt for partial reimbursement to your insurance company. Call the customer service number on the back of your card to ask if you have out-of-network mental health outpatient benefits and about the details of what they reimburse.
