Mindful Meditation

Mindful meditation can improve both mental and physical health.

Mindful meditation is a popular meditation technique that often contains two simple parts:  attention and acceptance.

ATTENTION

Tune your attention to what is happening in the present moment.  What are your thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations?  What can you hear?

ACCEPTANCE

Observe those thoughts, feelings, and sensations as if you were watching them across a movie screen.  Don’t judge them; instead, note their presence and then let them go.
