I’m Dr. Nicole Williams-Myers, a licensed psychologist with 15 years of experience providing therapy to clients of all ages. My goal is to provide ethical and professional care so that my clients may live daily in the service of their personal goals and values.
I am committed to creating a warm and comfortable environment for clients to discuss their needs while upholding client dignity; right to privacy; and providing current, evidence-based treatment, such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Family Systems.
Choosing a provider can be overwhelming, so I have included some background information about my training and experience that I hope will help you to make an informed decision about whether I might be a good fit. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Developmental Psychology from Bryn Mawr College and completed a pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology at Friends Hospital. Over my career, I have mainly worked in a private practice setting, with about two-thirds of my clientele adults and the remaining youth and families.
Just as our work environments can shape our wellness, the school environment is an important consideration when treating youth. I have worked in private schools and consulted with private and public schools to provide therapy, interventions, and best educational practices for young clients. Additionally, I have specific training in supporting students’ unique social and emotional needs with Gifted Independent Educational Plans.
Although I am trained as a generalist provider who can treat a wide range of concerns across the lifespan, I specialize in helping to manage and reduce anxiety, stress, poor sleep, and difficulty adjusting to work, school, or other demands of social situations. I look forward to meeting with you and working together to alleviate discomfort and create a plan for change that fits your individual needs.
Dr. Nicole Williams-Myers is available for in-person therapy in Hershey, PA, and online therapy across Pennsylvania.
